We aim to collect the minimum needed to operate the protocol and keep it secure:

  • Wallet data. Public on-chain addresses you connect to the Yacoin app. We do not collect your private keys — ever.
  • Account data. If you create an account, we store your email address and basic profile information.
  • Usage data. Aggregated, anonymized analytics about how the site is used, so we can improve it.
  • Support data. Messages you send to our support team, retained only to resolve your request.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide and maintain the Yacoin wallet, staking, and bridge features.
  • To send transaction confirmations and important security notices.
  • To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud or security issues.
  • To comply with legal obligations in the jurisdictions where we operate.

We never sell your personal data to third parties.

3. On-chain transparency

Yacoin is a public blockchain. Transactions made with YA are visible to anyone and cannot be erased. This is a core feature of the protocol, not a privacy failure — but it means you should treat your wallet address as public information and avoid linking it to your real-world identity if you value privacy.

4. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. Analytics cookies are opt-in. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time, though some features may not work as intended.

5. Data sharing

We share data only when necessary:

  • With independent auditors reviewing the protocol and its contracts.
  • With service providers (such as hosting and email) under strict data-processing agreements.
  • When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your data, where legally permitted.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.

9. Children's privacy

Yacoin is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site and by email to registered users. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
